What has not changed since summer 2024:
- Your access permissions. If you are having trouble updating rooms, please follow these instructions to navigate to the "1.40 Room Updates" view.
- The web page address for the facilities inventory system remains https://facilitiesinventory.cornell.edu [Cornell NetID login required]
- Your list of rooms and the data about departments, room types, and function codes which you entered last year.
- The annual schedule.
- The two-step process where users update rooms, and org admins complete the process by changing the room status.
- The requirement to keep records of researchers and their awards for every room where organized research takes place.
- Printable PDF floor plans continue to be available from the "Find Facility Information" web page.
- The Facilities Information Group needs to set access permissions for new users before they will be able to log in and update rooms. Write to the "org admin" for your college or division to request access changes.
Here are the top changes since summer 2024:
- The "Room Search" link on the entry page of the facilities inventory does not lead to a list of rooms where the details are editable. Follow these instructions to reach the "1.40 Room Updates" view. This is the spot for updating, reviewing and approving inventory room details.
