Contract Colleges Facilities Consultant Opportunities and Guidelines

Contract Colleges Facilities (CCF) at Cornell University manages the State University Construction Fund (SUCF) construction/renovation projects on Cornell’s state campus. Projects vary in scope, construction value, needed expertise and may be required to comply with both SUCF directives and Cornell University standards.

CCF will publicly advertise SUCF funded Architectural/Engineering, Commissioning and Construction Manager opportunities in the New York State Contract Reporter. Firms will be evaluated and rated based on criteria such as qualifications & experience of firm and personnel, previous experience specific to project, approach & capabilities of project team, MWBE subconsultant participation, and past performance.

Interested firms must submit qualifications in electronic format (pdf) by email to the contact listed on the NYS Contract Reporter solicitation. Questions regarding submissions shall be directed to same unless otherwise specified in the advertisement. Firms must submit clear, concise qualifications formatted as indicated in the advertisement. No other format will be accepted.

MWBE utilization goals for construction-related services are 15% MBE and 15% WBE. The list of NYS certified MWBEs can be found at Empire State Development’s MWBE certification database.
