Facilities and Campus Services provides a number of utility services to facilities on Cornell’s Ithaca campus.  

These include:

• Potable water for drinking
• Electricity provided by Cornell’s Combined Heat and Power System to most of central campus. Outer campus areas may use New York State Electric and Gas.
• Chilled water for cooling
• Steam for heating
