  • Welcome

We serve Cornell through the planning, design, construction, operation, and ongoing maintenance of University facilities. Additionally, we are proud to acknowledge the numerous accomplishments and successes of our staff as we partner with the broader university community in carrying out our mission. This website provides one-stop shopping for our customers to initiate a service, get current information about a project or building, or retrieve reference information. It is also designed to introduce you to the departments within Facilities and Campus Services (FCS). FCS is an administrative support division that includes the Office of the University Architect, Contract Colleges Facilities, Energy and Sustainability, Facilities Management, Transportation and Delivery Services, Engineering and Project Management, FCS Finance and Administration, and Environment, Health and Safety. FCS C.A.R.E.S. - Community, Appreciation, Recognition, Experience, Service

    Introducing FCS C.A.R.E.S.

Over time, FCS has launched various initiatives to celebrate our differences, highlight achievements, and foster connection. Committees have focused on recognition, engagement, and cultural awareness, creating spaces to uplift colleagues, honor contributions, and nurture belonging.

Listening to staff voices and reflecting on what makes our workplace thrive, we saw an opportunity to unify these efforts into something even more impactful.

    C.A.R.E.S.

    • Community — We support one another, united in a common purpose of enabling the university mission.
    • Appreciation — We are grateful for the hard work and demonstration our colleagues demonstrate.
    • Recognition — We notice when things go well and thank those responsible.
    • Experience — Growth, both personal and professional, enriches us all.
    • Service — Giving back connects us to a greater purpose.

FCS C.A.R.E.S. is more than an acronym—it embodies our everyday commitment to one another. Whether recognizing a colleague through the Cornell Appreciation Portal, celebrating milestones, applauding extraordinary effort, sharing joy, or volunteering together, C.A.R.E.S. represents who we are and what we value.

This initiative is inspired by your voices, shaped by your dedication, and driven by your heart.
