Facilities Contracts

The Vice President for Facilities and Campus Services has transaction authority for construction and major renovation of physical facilities; and state-funded, contract college construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.  This includes the responsibility for contracting with external parties on behalf of the University.

The Office of Facilities Contracts has been delegated responsibility for the preparation of facilities related contracts for services which require the use of labor (e.g. – contractors, architects, consultants, etc.) and services which create risk for the University.  These services typically include contracts for:

  • Feasibility studies
  • Architectural/engineering design services
  • Facilities related consulting services
  • Commissioning
  • Testing services
  • Renovations
  • Construction services for both capital and non-capital projects
