Make Parking a Daily Decision

Community members, visitors, and vendors now have more flexible parking and payment options—offering greater convenience and choice than traditional annual permits.

Flexible, Economical, Self-Service option

Cornell now offers the Daily Decision parking option to fit flexible work and class schedules.
If you only need to park on campus occasionally, we offer low-cost parking —starting at just $0.65 plus the ParkMobile fee—in select zones.

Getting Started - Parking is as simple as 1,2,3!

  1. Set up a parking account: Visit ParkMobile to create an account. In a rush? Text PARK to 77223 to start a session.
  2. Park & Pay – Choose your zone (look for low-cost Daily Decision lots) and start your session via app, website, or text.

  3. Go – You’re set! Extend most sessions up to 15 minutes before they expire.

Will prices change?

Daily Decision rates may go up or down based on occupancy, demand, and other factors. Any changes will be announced in advance on this page and posted at zone entrances.

How is Daily Decision parking different?

Daily Decision zones on the campus edges offer deeply discounted rates, while those closer to the center cost slightly more. These zones are open to everyone and supplement other short-term ParkMobile and pay station options. High-demand lots charge more for their prime location and convenience.

Is Daily Decision only for faculty and staff?

No—Daily Decision zones are open to everyone on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I use my annual permit in a Daily Decision lot?

Often, yes. Many zones accept both permits and ParkMobile payment. Always check the posted restrictions at the lot entrance.
