In the facilities inventory datamart, in the CURRENT_FISCAL_YEAR table, the value of the fields ACTIVE_FISCAL_YEAR, FROZEN_FISCAL_YEAR, and FISCAL_YEAR_START_DATE are advanced by one calendar year. For example, if the ACTIVE_FISCAL_YEAR had the value of '2024', it will advance to '2025'. The fiscal year 2025 corresponds to the period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
An additional year is added to the drop-down choices for fiscal year in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) reports.
The status of each KFS org in every room is reset to "Open". Rooms progress through a sequence of three statuses: Open, Reviewed, and Approved. The inventory updates are complete when all rooms have the "Approved" status and no rooms have errors. The status of updates to the facilities inventory system for the current fiscal year can be found on the Inventory Progress web page.
People who no longer have an active affiliation with Cornell University with a primary directory type of academic, emeritus, exception, faculty, staff, or student are removed from the list of NetIDs which can be associated with rooms. Similarly any seat assignments associated with such people are removed. In the fall of 2024, this process removed 53 seat assignments.
