Significant traffic circulation and parking adjustments are being made to facilitate new student move-in week, Aug. 15-19.

Students and their families, many visiting Ithaca for the very first time, will make their way around campus for move-in and orientation events. Roadways, parking lots, and buses will become congested. Please allow yourself extra time to travel to your destination if you must be on campus.

Community members are encouraged to plan their commute with this event in mind, and avoid driving on campus if possible. Alternatives to parking on campus include using a park-and-ride, working remotely (if permitted), sharing the ride, taking transit, or cycling or walking to campus.

Please be patient and offer assistance to our newest community members whenever possible. We thank you for your cooperation and partnership.
