Transit and Parking Update August 17, 2020

Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) is expected to switch to its fall bus service schedule on Aug. 30. This includes route changes and added services needed to support local transportation needs for the upcoming academic year.

In order to create better alignment with TCAT’s fall service schedule, Cornell will extend eased parking restrictions for select Parkmobile lots through the end of the month. Payment-free parking at the Parkmobile lot across Tower Road from Stocking Hall, and the Daily Decision Parkmobile lots located in the University Avenue (West Campus), TRB (East Campus), and East Hill office complex parking lots is in effect through Aug. 31.

Please note that permits will be required in permitted lots beginning August 17. Parking permits did not automatically renew for the 2020-21 academic year. If you need to purchase a parking permit, you may do so by visiting Facilities and Campus Services parking website.
