Facilities Inventory Organized Research Errors

These instructions apply to the version of the facilities inventory system in use through June 30, 2023 and are not applicable for users updating data for the period from July 1, 2023 onwards.

To clear instances of the ‘{H} Rooms with Research Functions must have Research Substantiation and a PI as an Occupant-Type’ error:

  • There must be at least one occupant identified with the PI occupant type.

  • Labor distribution, sponsored research, research comments, account numbers entered manually, or organized research substantiation must be identified.
  • If the room no longer has function code 2.2 or 2.1, then the occupants must have an end date.
