Updates & Closures
Schedules, parking availability, road access, and transportation operations may change as Move-In and Orientation activities evolve. To stay informed of any last-minute updates, temporary closures, traffic advisories, or service changes, please review any announcements or updates before traveling to campus and throughout your visit. Checking this page regularly will help you plan ahead, avoid unexpected delays, and ensure you have the most current information available for a smooth and successful campus experience.
In preparation for Student Move-In on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, several parking areas and roadways will have temporary closures and restrictions.
The following parking areas will be closed during Move-In:
North Campus:
- RPCC Lot: Closed beginning at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: any vehicles parked in the RPCC Lot after the closure begins will be towed.
- A Lot: Two center bays
- Risley South Lot
- Anna Comstock Lot
- Helen Newman West Lot
West Campus:
- Alice Cook Loop
- Forest Park Lane
- West Avenue
Central Campus:
- Crescent Lot
Traffic Restrictions
Due to Move-In activities, West Avenue will have restricted access and will be:
- No parking
- One-way southbound
ND permit holders: During the closure, ND permit holders may park in the outer loop of Hasbrouck.
All other permit holders may use alternative lots that your permit allows.
Important – RPCC Lot
Any vehicles remaining in the RPCC Lot after the closure begins at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, will be towed.
Please plan accordingly and allow additional time for travel through campus during Move-In.
