Campus Signage and Wayfinding

The Office of the University leads efforts to enhance the campus with exterior wayfinding signage.  Recent new wayfinding standards include: 

  • Vehicular Wayfinding Signage
  • Campus Maps
  • Interpretive Panels
  • ADA Path of Travel Signs

Cornell University 2016 Signage and Wayfinding Master Plan: While focused on enhancing the visitor experience, this integrated system of signs, maps, gateways and other tools makes wayfinding easier for everyone and enriches the impression of campus. Section 1 is the Wayfinding Plan for the Cornell campus; Section 2 details the signage standards.
