Gregory Smith approved of utility shut down.
Holding off on shut down, depending on what valve is isolated for the “entire building” shutdown to Plant Science, Emerson gas will also be affected in this.
If a NYSEG gas valve at the meter is to be isolated, they will need to be notified as well. They operate and lockout their own equipment. They will also need to verify once gas is back online that gas equipment is functional, either by relighting lab burners, pilots, stoves, heaters, etc. Basically any gas fed equipment building wide which is then typically signed off on per NYSEG protocol.
