We will be changing the network addresses in all of the HVAC controllers (ALC devices) in VMC. After the network addresses have been changed, it will take a couple of hours for the child devices (ARCNET and MSTP devices) under the network connected ALC devices to be able to communicate with each other again. Jason Arnold, the senior ALC controls programmer, will be warm starting the ALC devices several times during this process. I will inform Lindy West of our plans and request that she will be standing be in case any of the HVAC equipment in VMC needs to be manually operated during this process.
