This shutdown request is for eBuilder project # 12703. This cooling tower maintenance will require the Insectary's cooling systems to be switched over to domestic water for approximately 4 days. The cooling tower maintenance has been coordinated with the building coordinator, as well as multiple members in CC Zone, Ops Zone, EH&S, and Utilities.

Cooling tower will need to be de-energized and locked, switched over to domestic water, and completely drained Monday 11/6/23 morning so maintenance can begin 9AM that same day. Cooling tower can be switched back on anytime on Thursday 11/2/23 (this can be coordinated directly with Cass Barbour cmb468@cornell.edu if maintenance happens faster than planned.)

Jason Babcock, Jeremy Varga, and Brian Hotchkiss have all been notified.
