During the West Campus steam shutdown, Kimble (Shane Farr - 573-355-7624) is going to put a new weld o let on the existing 8” campus steam near Lyon and provide a 2-1/2” ball valve and extend and tie into the existing 3” at Lyon Mech room. They will also cap off the old line in the pit in the middle of the tunnel. Then eventually they will demo out all of the pipe. Chas Porter and Frank Perry are aware of this work and the work involved.
