Demolition of the "BluChill" process chiller (#C-5001) in Mechanical Room #2L0060 is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Prior to the demolition, the circuit for the chiller needs to be disconnected and the Shops assistance is requested to evacuate the refrigerant from the unit (WO 15049577). This chiller serves laboratory #116D, which will be taken out of service until startup and commissioning of the new chiller is completed on or about March 13, 2023. Controls and electrical shops are included for information. The contractor's superintendent is Rick Warner from Kimble Inc. (607)793-1496.
