Kimball-Thurston Passenger Elevator (ELEV-100498) Out-of-Service for Repairs. Elevator requires a software rebuild. Schindler Elevator has been contacted by Otis to have their engineering department reprogram the system. Schindler provided a 10-15 day lead time. We are hopeful that this can been remediated sooner than that. There is no other passenger elevator in Thurston. Accessibility is impacted. The Bard Hall elevator may be able to accommodate some individuals affected by accessibility movements. Otis will provide updated information when available from Schindler. Patty & Andrea will get updates as soon as we receive anything.
