Computing and Communications Center Building Electrical Service Entrance Upgrade
Project Description
1. This project will replace the Computing and Communications Center (CCC) building’s electrical service. Work includes removing two (2) oil filled exposed bushing transformer banks, a 15-kv metal enclosed switchgear and two (2) freestanding switchboards installed in a main-tie-main configuration.
2. The work also includes the installation of a new medium voltage transformer, an enclosed main circuit breaker, a main distribution panel, and the installation of a generator docking station with a rental of a portable generator to backup critical loads during construction.
