Lake Source Cooling Emergency Generator

Project Description

1.    The Cornell University Lake Source Cooling (LSC) Emergency Generator Project includes the installation of one (1) new outdoor enclosed 1 MW, 480V Natural Gas Emergency Generator (EGG) installed on a new outdoor concrete pad, and the installation of two (2) Emergency Generator Control Panels (EGCPs) which will be located in the existing LSC Electrical Room.
2.    The majority of the work in this project will be electrical in nature along with some civil work associated with the generator set concrete pad and underground conduit runs.
3.    Contractor will assist the EGG & EGCP vendors, contracted by the Owner, during equipment testing and commissioning and work with the Owner’s CxA and the free-issued equipment Vendors, to carry out a full functional testing of the entire installation.
