Project Description
Replacement of the roof at the LIHREC (Long Island Horticulture Research and Extension Center) Pesticide Building includes the following:
1. The existing asphalt shingle roofing materials are to be removed down to the existing structural wood deck.
2. Provide and install new membrane underlayment to existing and new sound wood decking substrate.
3. A portion of new framing and roof substrate is to be provided to cover existing sidewalk.
4. Provide and install new standing seam metal panels over new membrane underlayment.
