East Hill Plaza Joint Backup Call Center

Project Description

1. The project seeks to renovate an existing 1,800 sf office space into a backup emergency
communications center in Suite 180 at East Hill Plaza. As part of a code variance
granted by New York State, the new center is required to be structurally separated from
the main building, shall be fully sprinklered, and supported by 72-hours of backup
emergency power. A new generator, transfer switch, and service panel has been
furnished by the University and will be installed by the Contractor. Additional work
includes modification of the existing entrance, one rooftop mini-split HVAC unit,
electrical service and distribution, enlargement of an existing exterior fence screen, and
other associated work.
