Facilities Inventory: Edit Room Details
To edit information about a room, click the edit button corresponding to the room in the
Table 1 below lists where to find each pieces of information:

| KFS orgs (department or section) associated with the room | Room Details tab |
| Function Codes | Functions tab |
| Net Area | Write to us at facilitiesinventory@cornell.edu if the "Net Area" or size of the room in square feet needs updating because of a renovation. These values are determined from floor plans and not editable by facilities inventory users. |
| Room Type | Room Details tab |
| Seat Assignment | This is an optional step. People can be associated with rooms using the "Seat Assignment" capability under the "Additional Information" tab. |
