Cornell Transportation is implementing a new parking management system, AIMS, in October. AIMS will provide improved self-service tools, expanded parking management options, and a simplified experience for managing permits, vehicles, citations, and short-term parking.
Getting Started
What is AIMS? What does that mean for me?
AIMS is a parking management system that is used and trusted by over 300 universities and municipalities across North America. It will help Cornell manage over 10,000 parking spaces and XX,000 people driving and taking the bus to campus each year.
You should expect more options for daily and short-term parking, simplified event management, and the ability to manage your account (such as adding or removing vehicles) better on your own.
Why are you making the switch?
AIMS is a comprehensive parking management system that provides a better customer experience and more options for Cornell to manage the complex needs for people to get to and from campus every day.
Key Information
The new system will be available beginning Wednesday, October 14.
Existing permits and vehicle information will transfer automatically.
There are no additional steps needed to keep your permit.

Short-term Parking
What is AMP and is it the same as ParkMobile?
AMP is AIMS Mobile Pay. It is the integrated service provided by AIMS to pay for and manage short-term parking.
AMP and ParkMobile both offer the ability to pay for parking, and Cornell charges the same hourly rate for parking regardless of which option you choose.
AMP and ParkMobile may charge different processing fees, depending on how you use the app.
Do I have to pay both AMP and ParkMobile?
No, AMP and ParkMobile are both options to pay for short-term parking. You only need to use one of these options when paying for parking.
