Delta Kappa Epsilon 13 South Avenue Electrical System Upgrade

Project Description

1.    In coordination with NYSEG, upgrade the existing 200A single phase electric service from Pole 139 to a new 600A frame and 500A main circuit breaker with 240/120V single phase service. 
a.    Phase 1: exterior work from pole 139 to the facility
b.    Phase 2: interior work with planned shutdown
c.    Phase 3 (Alternate #1): replace basement and second floor subpanels, conduit, and wiring
2.    Provide temporary power and associated wiring to continuously power the following life safety systems while the building is without power:
a.    Fire alarm panel
b.    Dry sprinkler system compressor
c.    Sprinkler system water pumps
3.    Work will include, but is not limited to, excavation, site restoration (plantings, grass, driveway, sidewalk), masonry, and electrical.
